1) I was sitting in seat 8A on the flight from Austin to Dallas. The lady sitting in seat 8B was already on board when I got on, so we exchanged pleasantries. We both talked about how we travel all the time for work, and how we would rather get up at 4:30 AM and sleep in our own beds the night before than stay in a hotel in a small Texas town. Then we talked about our day, and neither of us were ending in Dallas. We realized were both headed on to Wichita Falls. Totally random. Out of everyone going from Austin to Dallas with connections to catch, no one goes on to Wichita Falls. Anyway, we got off the plane in Wichita Falls at 8:30 AM, and I went to my site after saying goodbye. About 10 minutes later, the plane lady walks in. Not only were we sitting next to each other and on the same 2 flights, but we were both doing day trips at the same doctor's office. Crazy. We exchanged business cards. She works for another company out of the San Antonio office. I love networking. :)
2) In American Airlines First Class (yep, I was First Class for 30 minutes), there is a different magazine, instead of American Way. How strange is that? I guess maybe b/c First Class people usually travel all the time, and the American Way (haha, Brandon calls it AmWay) magazine only updates every 2 weeks? Anyway, it was bizarre. Don't worry, I only read US Weekly and Entertainment Weekly. I'm not being corrupted by air travel. :)
3) I saw a giant, musical Tony Romo Pez dispenser at the DFW airport today. For only 25.00 dollars, it could be yours! :) I have no idea what music it plays, but I know it's over a foot tall (13 inches) and dispenses entire rolls of Pez, instead of just one candy.
If you get it, let me know what song it plays. :)
That's about it. I've been up since 4:30 AM, and now I'm writing a report before going to a training on Scientific Misconduct tomorrow. Fun times!
PS: SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE FINALE TONIGHT!! I'm recording now. And I haven't watched PR yet. I'm behind. Expect my thoughts on both, and Flipping Out, soon! Maybe even Tori and Dean. It's possible that I went to Candy Spelling's website yesterday. :)
