Salt Lake City

So, it's my 2nd time to Salt Lake City, and I was telling Shawna that it's a lot smaller than I pictured it. The Olympics were here a few years ago, weren't they? Everyone must have stayed outside the city somewhere. It's smaller than Austin (ok, I'm not looking at the census, so don't hold me to that...) but I can't picture Austin hosting the Olympics.

Anyway, I was driving around the city looking for a Starbucks and ended up in the lobby of the Sheraton, which has a Starbucks in it. Thanks, NeverLost. This hotel is pretty nice! Way nicer than the Embassy Suites I've been staying at (which is not terrible, except that it's not near anything, and there's a lot of construction going on.)

So, it's not bad here. I've also been in Spokane this week, which is very similar, although maybe a little smaller? I haven't done anything very interesting in either cities. I've watched a little tv, and that's about it. :)

I haven't watched Project Runway yet, so don't ruin it for me! I did watch So You Think You Can Dance both nights, and I AM SO GLAD COMFORT IS GONE! I'm not sure why Will left also, but at least it's not Joshua, who I would pick between the 2. Twitch is also better than Mark, so hopefully Mark will be next. I was sad Courtney was in the bottom. I'm really starting to like her over Chelsie. We'll see what happens next week. I like this show more than American Idol. I kind of want to go see the dancers on tour. :)

I guess that's all I've done. Wow, I'm boring. :) Brandon had some terrible travel stories this week. Maybe I can get him to guest blog. :)

Anyway, I'm coming home tonight. I'm planning on having dinner w/ Vincent tomorrow, and maybe also brunch w/ Steph, but I haven't confirmed yet. Anyone else want to get penciled in on my social calendar? :) I'm not leaving for Los Angeles until Wednesday, so I have a good 5 days in Austin to enjoy!!
