The Power of Advertising

Everyone who knows me knows that I am a sucker for advertising. I saw a commercial for the new Swiffer wood furniture dusting cleaner today, and when I was in Wal-mart tonight, I almost bought it... even though the only things I have to dust here are a hand-me-down coffee table, and an entertainment center made out of fake wood that has a major tilt. Oh, and I already have pledge, multi-purpose cleaner for wood surfaces. I'm telling you, it's just that the lady looked so happy to be cleaning.


A few months ago I bought these Cascade dishwasher tabs, instead of the powder. You just put the little pouch into the dishwasher, and it works it's magic, supposedly. Although my dishes have been ending up dirtier than normal when the dishwashing cycle is over...

I bought a Fabreeze scented candle today, which actually did an amazing job at making my house smell delicious, so that is recommended.


I'll let you know if I find anything else worth buying.

I also want to tell you to steer clear of Martha Stewart's magazine, unless you want to gain 20 lbs. There are a ton of desserts and pastas in there that look delicious!! :) Ok, that's it for today. Hope y'all had a great weekend!
