Semi-Sweetest Day

I called Brandon near the end of the work day on Friday, and I asked him where my Sweetest Day present was... in a nice way, of course. :) If you remember from my earlier post, the people of the Great Lakes area made up a holiday to occur on the 3rd Saturday of October every year in order to sell more chocolates and flowers. Unfortunately, we don't celebrate it (and we've never heard of it) in Texas, so I've been missing out on an extra day of presents for 28 years...

Then, on Friday, Brandon told me that I didn't get to celebrate Sweetest Day this year because I was in Texas and Texans don't celebrate the holiday. Boo!!

You better believe that next year, when I'm living in Ohio, I will be receiving the best Sweetest Day present ever! (right, Brandon?) Ha ha.

Oh, also I saved my blog login info on B's computer in Cincinnati, and he just discovered it and has decided to secretly log in and edit some of my posts. I'm not sure what he's edited so far, except the part about my contact lenses in the last post, but if you see anything else that looks out of the ordinary, that's probably him. If anyone is bored and has read every post and wants to figure out if anything else looks edited, let me know!

I would change my password, but i think it's good for him to take an active part of my blogging. :) And it's funny.

To change the subject, this past week was so much fun. Here's a summary of all my fun shenanigans:

1) I was in LA hanging out with Rachel. We did iPhone photo shoots (ex: Sharla Zoe), I went shopping at the Beverly Center, and we had a great dinner at The Grove!

2) Then, I came home on Thursday and celebrated my friend Jen's birthday at Docs. So good to see everyone! Happy Birthday again, Jen!

3) On Friday, everyone went to El Chile for mine and Shawna's birthday dinner! Afterwards, a few of us went downtown to the Ranch, which I've never been to before, and I thought the music and the people were awesome. The drinks were too strong (which may be a good thing for some people, but I had to fix mine to make it drinkable.)

4) On Saturday, tailgating started in the afternoon, and we had lots of beer and fun. I love the free photo booth at the the Texas tailgates and took some fun pics. :) The game was great, and UT is still number 1!! Next up, Oklahoma State University on Saturday.

4) Today, Steph and I went to get pedicures and had great catch up time. My feet look awesome! NYC did some serious damage and I think it's all repaired. WHOO HOO! Thanks, Steph!

I was supposed to be in Austin every day this week, but I found out on Friday that I have to go to Indianapolis Monday and Tuesday. I'll be home on Tuesday night, though, and as of right now, I'm not traveling anywhere else. Yay!
