I stayed at the Hilton downtown all week. I was on the 24th floor and had a nice view of the city. I liked it a lot. I think I'll have Shawna's bachelorette party there, if I can find a slightly bigger room. Mine was too small for a party.
Anyway, the week was long, b/c not only was I working from 8:00ish AM every morning until at least 5:00 every night, but I also had plans every night! On Sunday, Shawna and Oliver made Colleen and I dinner. It was really good! Then, we watched part of the Grammys. Poor Rhianna. I don't understand why people can't control their tempers. If you love someone, why would you want to hurt them? Domestic violence makes no sense to me.
On Monday, I went to the mall w/ Shanwa and my mom, after eating dinner at Chuy's w/ my dad too. I got some new Fit Flops, which so far are the best shoes ever to walk around the airport in!

I also got a dress to wear to Shawna's wedding, which is navy blue and really flattering and pretty. I love it! After shopping, I went to Jen's house to watch the Bachelor. President Obama ruined the dvr, and I missed 45 minutes of the show, but I saw enough to know who got kicked off, and I'll watch the rest at home. Thanks a lot, Jen. :)
On Tuesday, I went with Heidi to Southpark Meadows, where we had drinks at the new Little Woodrows, and then we went to meet Shawna and my mom to see Shawna's wedding dress! It is really pretty!
After I left there, I went to Steph and Jarrod's for dinner. They cooked for me also. Everyone cooked or took me out to dinner this week. haha. Anyway, the food was good, and we watched The Biggest Loser, which is always awesome. Kind of sad that only one person in the couple goes home now. Too bad it wasn't like that last week, or just Joelle could've left.
When I left their house, I stopped by Randalls to get some groceries, and when I left, I was in the middle of a monsoon. :) It was hailing and pouring rain and there were really heavy winds. I was scared, but I drove back to the hotel anyway, and it was a scary drive, but I made it.
On Wednesday, the client that I'm working for came to town and took us out to dinner to Fonda San Miguel.

The food and atmosphere were awesome. I can't believe I've never been before. I am going back asap!
On Thursday, I met some of my friends at Doc's on Brodie for drinks and food, and then we went to see He's Just Not That Into You! I loved it. It's a good movie if Ben Affleck can make you cry... not once, but twice. I recommend it to anyone. Jen thought it was depressing though, and one story really was, but overall, it was a great movie. Oscar next year for sure. haha. jk.
Today was my last day. I worked until 3:00 and then left for the airport. I think I get in around 11:05. After the plane crash yesterday, I'm kind of freaked out about flying, but hopefully I'll be ok. I'll be glad to be home w/ my honey for the weekend. I leave on Monday for Canton, OH, then to New Port Richey, FL for the rest of the week.
I need a relaxation day. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! I'm going to watch When Harry Met Sally to celebrate.
