The news here keeps calling the snow a "lake effect," whatever that means. My car lost traction w/ the road on my way to work earlier, but it recovered quickly. I'll try my luck at driving on ice/snow again in the morning and see if I do better. My rental Jetta does not have 4 wheel drive, so it's a little scary.
Tonight, I'm just trying to write some reports and watch The Biggest Loser. Nothing special is going on in Canton. I did find a Chipotle and a mall right next to my site, so I had a great dinner. And there was a "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" next door. I love the margaritas, but I didn't go b/c I have to work. Also, I'm trying to only drink wine for fewer calories, except for special occassions, which a Tuesday in Canton is not.
Today, Brandon managed to talk the nice people at Serta into giving us a new mattress w/ his warranty, which I didn't know ever worked, but that's exciting! The current one has a weird lean. We get the new mattress on Thursday. They should let us keep the old one too, although we don't have a guest room right now to put it in. I was thinking of making my office an office/guest room, but I think I'd fall asleep a lot if there was a bed in it. I still might do it though, b/c I don't have enough office furniture to fill the room.
Anyway, I'm going to Cincy tomorrow via a layover in Detroit. I hope I make it. I think Detroit is getting worse weather than Canton, but it's supposed to all disappear tomorrow. I pray.
