My Weekend and New Trips

This weekend was such a blast. I went to Hula Hut after lunch on Friday with Jen and Natalie. I haven't been there in forever and it was just as good as I knew it would be. After that, I went out w/ Jen, briefly stopping by Shawna's apt first to help her design a Save the Date magnet for her wedding. We finally got it perfect and she forgot to save it. BOO!

Saturday morning, I got up bright and early (before 8:00 AM) to tailgate before the UT/Baylor game at 11:00. We went to Scultz's -- probably not spelled right-- and then Dave brought us stuff for mimosas so we had those on our walk to the stadium. The game was fun. I snuck Jen and Dave into my seats w/ Natalie and then an old couple showed up and made them move, but we all 4 found seats together again on the row in front of my normal seats. Shawna couldn't go to the game this week b/c she went wedding dress shopping.

At halftime, all of us went to the end zone club and hung out there for the rest of the game. We didn't have a membership, so we had to sneak into it. There was a lot of sneaking in yesterday. But UT won and it was a good time. For the other games this weekend, Texas Tech and Alabama both won, which sucks. I'm not sure how UT can possibly get to the national championship now. If anyone wants to go through the scenarios with me, email me. :)

Today, I've gone through a lot of stuff in my house and shredded the stuff I don't need and got rid of things I don't want to move to Ohio. It's going to be a long process. I also booked Brandon's ticket down to Austin on Nov 22nd, so I'll have some help for a few days going through all my stuff before the road trip starts to Ohio on the 29th.

Speaking of the bf, Brandon was in some small Kentucky town on an ATV boys trip w/ 14 other crazy boys this weekend with no cell phone service. I heard from him maybe 10 minutes a day. I'm glad he made it home safely. I was worried practically the whole weekend. And then he told me he went on one trail called the "widow maker". Ummmm, not a good idea!! :) Anyway, I'm a worrier, but that would be a terrible way to lose the man I love. I'm not into risk taking. But I guess I have to let him go on stupid guy trips, so I can be a good girlfriend and he can be happy, but I think next time I'm going to need to plan a girls weekend in Vegas or something to keep me occupied. :)

This week, I'm going to Tampa tomorrow and then San Diego on Wednesday. I'll be home on Friday around 6:00, just in time for another weekend in Austin. I guess I should start packing my suitcase for this trip. I was supposed to do laundry tonight, but I never got around to it. Oh well. I can't wait to use my washer and dryer in Ohio next week. It's been almost a month since I last saw Brandon. We never go this long w/o seeing each other. It sucks! And it only happened this way b/c I was supposed to be there 2 weeks ago, but I had to go to Pittsburgh instead at he last minute. Dang it. Oh well, absence makes the heart grow fonder... :) I'll be in Ohio from the 17th through 21st and then I'm home for my final week before the move. AHHHHH! it's getting so close.
