House Update

This weekend Brandon and I started framing in the spare bedroom in the basement. It will either be our guest room, or I'll move my office down there. We haven't decided yet. It will have it's own bathroom though, which will be super nice!

Hopefully I'll be able to use my IRS money for some of the materials. We're looking at a beige-ish carpet for the flooring. What do you think of this color?


Right now, the walls in the main part of the basement are painted a color called porpoise (kind of a blue gray). I can't decide if we should repaint to be more of a tan, or if it needs the color. Hmmm.

Other than home stuff, we watched the golden globes last night. I loved Kyra Sedgewick's dress, and I thought Debra Messing looked really good. What was up with Drew Barrymore? her hair was out of control!

Anyway, not a lot going on. I haven't been to the gym at all last week b/c I was at sites or traveling all but one day. :( I hope to go tonight before I leave tomorrow for Ann Arbor, MI. Yay....
