Slumdog

On Friday night we finally saw an Oscar-caliber movie, Slumdog Millionaire. I liked the suspense a lot and I loved the way it was written and how the story unfolded. I also thought it was shot really well.



I didn't think it was as good as I had heard. It was good, but I don't think it is worthy of Best Picture of anything. Of course, I haven't seen any of the other nominees yet, so maybe it was the best.

Benjamin Button is next on my list!

I spent Monday through Wednesday in California this week for work. It was great to see the sunshine again. :) I had dinner w/ Kevin and Rachel at The Little Door in Los Angeles on Tuesday. I got the scallops and we had a mediterranean plate appetizer, which were yummy.

It took over 4 hours on a direct flight from Cincy to LAX. And there and back I was in a middle seat. I'm so glad that's over. This week I'm going to Indianapolis tomorrow and Tuesday, and I'll be here the rest of the week. Next week, I'm not traveling at all, which is awesome! Then I'll be in Austin for a week. I'm super-excited! I think I land around 3:00 on Sunday. Wednesday night is the only night I'm booked with a work dinner, but other than that, I'm free to hang out. I'll be in the Hilton if you want to visit me!
